Surgery for Wet Macular Degeneration

So when someone is having surgery for wet macular degeneration, it is done via a laser. The laser consist of a high-energy light beam that is aimed directly at the blood vessels that are causing the problems. This destroys them and stops further deterioration of vision. It is important to use the right treatment for macular degeneration if you have the dry form of ARMD.
