If you own a small business, you should be thinking about buying a marketing list.  Marketing lists are great, because when they are done right, they will consist of people who have indicated an interest in your product or service.  That is what makes mailing lists so great.  If someone has said that they are interested in what you do, then you are ahead of the game.  Again, mailing lists are a great way to do that.  That is, if you can find a good marketing list company that you can depend on.  Mailing list companies are a dime a dozen, and most of them are bad.  They are kind of like used car salesmen.  They try to slap some lipstick on a pig and pass it off as something that is good.  You have to avoid these kinds of mailing list companies at all costs.  How can you do that, though?  How can you find the kind of mailing list company that you need?  There are a couple of things you can keep in mind to make sure that you don’t run across the wrong kind of mailing list company, because if you do, you are going to waste a lot of time and money.  Why would you do that if you don’t have to if you own your own business?  That is the wrong way to do it.  Find a good mailing list company, and you are well on your way.
