There Oughta Be A Law

A magician is a great idea for your kids birthday party, or any other kids party, for that matter. If you have any doubt at all, just watch the look in your kids eyes when you announce that you will have a magic show at their party. That should be all it takes to cement how popular the dallas magician will be. While it will definitely be a hit, it will only be so if you hire the right magician. The horror stories of people hiring magicians that show up late, show up drunk, or just simply don’t show up abound. So how do you avoid being one of those people with fifty bored or crying six year old kids looking up at you expecting something better than a poorly engaged or just bad magician?

Here are a couple of thoughts to consider before you ever hire your magician that should help you considerably. First, learn all you can about what a good magician does. What magic tricks do they do for kids that separates them from magicians who concentrate on adults? What is their specialty? What success stories can you read about in general, as in, what other parties can you read about that had a great magician? These are all answers that will get you closer to the general idea of what kind of magician you want at your kids party. To get more specific, you then turn to the individual magicians that are advertising. Separate out about ten of the best magicians, and ask them some prepared questions. What are some of their success stories? How long have they been entertaining children? Is this their full time job? If you ask these questions in person, it will tell you a lot.

The right magician can make your kids party something they will remember for the rest of their life (who doesn’t remember that first time they saw a rabbit pulled out of a hat, a disappearing ball, etc…?), just make sure it’s the right magician.
