Distorted Vision: Signs of ARMD?

Distorted vision can also be a symptom of age macular degeneration. This distortion is usually noticeable with regard to a set of straight lines. These lines may appear wavy or even blank a good way to check is to look at a set of mini blinds since this is a common grid of straight lines that are found in many people’s homes. Other symptoms include the inability to distinguish colors, the loss of the ability to notice contrast and the inability to recover from exposure to bright light. These are all symptoms can be subtle at first, especially if the loss of color or contrast is between similar shades. It may not be noticeable until it becomes severe enough to make it impossible to distinguish between radically different shades of color.
